Our Anthologies

UPDATE: Submissions are now closed to the anthologies, and notifications have been sent out. Honorariums are in the mail. If you are in North America and don't receive yours by Friday, October 10, 2008, email us at Magnapoets AT Gmail DOT com to let us know. If you are anywhere else in the world, and don't receive your honorarium by November 1st, 2008, let us know at Magnapoets AT Gmail DOT com.

As soon as we have purchasing information on the anthologies, we will post it here.

We are looking for Japanese form poetry (haiku, senryu, and tanka only) with spring and summer, and fall and winter themes. Submissions are open from now til September 30, 2008 and may be sent to magnapoets@gmail.com with the subject line "Spring/Summer Anthology" or "Autumn/Winter Anthology".  Up to ten poems in each of the categories may be sent.

Selections will be made and poets notified in the month of October. Both anthologies will be published later in the year, and will be in perfect bound, soft cover book form.
