I think that image works well with the words because of the snake-like, and shadow-like effect.

One of your best, Shane, and that's the best of an excellent lot. The photo is great in itself, and the combination is extremely powerful.

This is definitely a Grabber and a Keeper, Shane. I even like the fact that I had to squint to read the poem -- and that I have no idea what is going on in the photo. The uncertainty increases the echo in the verse.
