this man who wears
the lowest-slung jeans I've ever seen
asks me to dance
I'd rather he tell me the name
of his personal waxer

To those of you who were thinking of sending in a subscription for Magnapoets Print - don't! At least not yet. I told you I would get the cost down, and I did! :) I am pleased to announce that the price will be slashed in at least half shortly, so stay tuned until I have specific details. :)
For those of you who have already sent subscriptions in - thank you. I can either reimburse you the difference, increase your subscription for two years, or send you the equivalent amount in copies. Send me an email to let me know your preferences.
Thanks to all of you for your support and the generous feedback. Poets and poetry lovers are the best! :)

I need a home for my words,
somewhere with cedar-lined drawers
to host the softest of concepts,
Cupboards for the pronouns,
lavender sachet shelves
for the metaphors and similes,
and rooms with great acoustics for all the verse
that madly rolls off your poet's tongue!
