Every issue, it seems we get submissions from people who assume the online sites are our publication. They are not. Those are our blogs. Magnapoets has a separate print publication, published twice a year. Guidelines can be found here.
I'm also getting emails from people asking if I can post their poems on our blogs. The answer to that is no. Our blogs are members-only, and membership is by invitation. That doesn't mean we don't accept new members from time to time, but currently we are full and already have a waiting list that won't be renewed for at least a year or two. That means that when you see a new member popping up, it's been after a year or two wait, and that a previous poet has willingly given up his/her membership in order for a new poet to join. Sometimes, that's a temporary thing (for example, while a poet is on a book tour).
Our print publication, however, is open to submission by anyone, but only during given submission periods. Our next submission period doesn't open til October 1-31 of this year, and our next issue isn't until January 2010, so please hold off sending poetry til then.
